EARLY LIFE

For many, luck is something that is highly sought after but for Jermy Tassin, it is something that comes naturally. Jermy was born in the Magnolia Projects, New Orleans, LA in April 1986, Jermy knew that he had a gift that most didn’t have - a gift to entertain. Being the only boy in his all girls’ family allowed for him not to only take a somewhat dominant role but allowed for him to mature at an early age. Early 15 and 16, pre-Katrina, Jermy went through some trials and tribulations, then he began to progressively change his life for the better. Raised by his grandmother and mother, Jermy saw what it meant to be a strong individual through the strength of the women around him. In so, he learned to be strong in character as he was able to express himself with his family and was able to go after his dreams. As time progressed, Jermy began embracing his feel for music and his passion for dance. As he began finding his rhythm physically and vocally, he began performing in front of family and friends to what he thought to be his own style of music and dance. Soon, Jermy began to focus on his music as he merged his love for rap with a need for clean inspiring music and conclusively came up with what can be called, inspirational rap. Listening to him, his friend felt that his sound had the ability to go further than just to his close family and friends and encouraged him expand his sound to others.

ERMYLOU RECORDS

Taking his friends advice into consideration, Jermy seriously began pursuing his music as his career. Moving forward and wanting to make a change, Jermy opened ErmyLou Records where he can help other aspiring performers reach their potential. Manning the ship of both Manager and Label Owner, he has found himself making a change from the inside out. Using his leadership experience, passion for music and growth, Jermy was able to form a dynamic team. Jermy then formed a dance group, FNS -- Fresh N Stainless, to motivate neighborhood kids to dedicate themselves to something positive. This versatile dance group completed the brand, Luckylou.

“Through Christ, I am moved. He guides me every step of the way. I believe that I can help others to reach their potential and will do my best to do so. I am not only trying to further my career but also anyone that is inspired by God and is willing to have me help them,“ said Jermy.

LUCKYLOU, THE RAPPER

Starting his career on the right path, LuckyLou has released a mixtape called Destine and the singles, “That Ninja Cold”, “LuckyLou With It” and “Gimme” which were all released and are now available on iTunes. He also created an EP called Intersection which became well known for the hit single, Stomp the Violence. Winter 2012, Lucky released his first album, Road to Glory. His first single, “Wop Bop” which is hi dance-craze song was released, Fall of 2012. The album was meant to stir the senses while bringing his positive perspective to life. “Road to Glory paints a picture to show that even though things can get bad, once you believe, you can do anything with the glory of God. Once we believe in him, the road to glory is ours” says LuckyLou. In 2013, there was a re-release of a past collaborated-single called, “Pump Up The Bass” featuring various artists that resurfaced, you can now find the music video on Youtube. Lucky is currently working on other projects and collaborations which are expected to be released this Spring 2014. Having luck is one thing but being LuckyLou is of another caliber.

“We believe that all things are possible through God and that through Christ, we are strengthened and allowed to fulfill our purpose. I believe my purpose is to breathe positivity through music and allow my artists to do the same. In the Road to Glory album, we will depict just that,” said Jermy.
